Boy hears again after pioneering non-surgical implant

11-year-old, William Bird, becomes one of the first people in the country to benefit from a non-surgical bone-conduction device for hearing loss, ADHEAR

After the trial at Birmingham Children’s Hospital,  the device is expected to be rolled out across the UK. The hope is that ADHEAR could benefit around 700,000 people in the UK who have conductive hearing loss.
