We are pleased to announce that is being incorporated into Fegans

Fegans cares holistically for children and families through counselling children, providing parent support, intervention and training., and its specific reach to Dads, is a natural extension of Fegans work with families.

For some years funding for the Family Matters Institute (FMI) has come primarily through the Department for Education, but also through grant providers and individual donors. We are very grateful to the DfE, and other contributors, for the support and funding that has enabled FMI to support tens of thousands of Dads and their families through the site.

The charity funding landscape has been increasingly difficult in recent years, particularly for small organisations, and there has been a significant reduction in the money available across public and private sectors.

FMI is therefore delighted to announce that will be incorporated into Fegans, given their vision and purpose to support children and families. We are confident that Fegans will build on the valuable work previously undertaken.

FMI want to thank everyone who has supported us and has used the site; we are tremendously proud of everything that has been achieved and for the changed lives that have resulted.  We are excited in looking forward to the continued work through Fegans.
