At 02:00 hrs last Thursday morning my wife left home to go to Turkey for 5 days. Why she is going is too confusing to go into but what it means is that until 23:30 this coming Wed I am both Mum and Dad.
Things have been going ok and I am feeling in control so far. My worst fear was that the boys, esp Harvey would struggle with mum being gone especially as to date the longest she has been away is 2 days (1night). I came home to 2 totally knackered and spoilt boys. I must admit though I felt totally guilty about going away for the day and if I could have cancelled the training I would’ve, so I total appreciate Sarah for stepping up and being amazing. Saturday evening was a lads night, we camped out in the lounge watched films (totally love the new Phineas and Ferb in the 2nd Dimension movie) till we fell asleep. Yes it meant a bit of a late one but we slept in late and loved every memory making minute.
Sunday we stayed in our PJ’s all day and chillaxed, “we
