It’s the 21st of June, and I’m recovering from what was a good Father’s Day with my wee family. My four-year-old served me breakfast in bed, my six-year-old graced me with a few of his best paper airplane models, and they both crafted homemade cards to rival Clinton’s finest range.

Lest I forget, I also received a very luxurious £15 Umbro watch. Trés chic.
I felt honoured by my boys and their makeshift gifts (who needs another tie or a pair of cufflinks, anyway?), and I know I’m a lucky man to get to spend Father’s Day with my family.
We here at DadTalk Towers know not everyone has the luxury of spending Father’s Day with their kids, and so we want those of you whose Father’s Day may have been bittersweet to know that we honour you.
Fatherhood can look different for every dad, so…
…to the granddads who play an important role in the lives of your grandchildren, we honour you.
…to the dads who are fighting for the right to see your children, we honour you.
…to the dads who are raising your kids on your own, we honour you.
…to the step-dads who are taking on the role of dad to your partner’s children, we honour you.
…and to the dads who don’t have custody of your kids and don’t get to see them as often as you’d like, we honour you.
…
Happy Father’s Day from us at DadTalk, and thanks for letting us be a part of your Dad journey.
