A day of fast cars and exciting entertainment that won’t cost you a penny for the kids? Yes, but be quick…

There are just five days left to get hold of free child tickets for the Cholmondeley Power and Speed festival. The petrol-fuelled event takes place on 10-12 June, but early birds can get their children through the gates free of charge if they book before the end of April. From 1 May, each child will be charged at £7, but that’s still a bargain price.

Adult tickets are currently reduced, with prices starting from £22, but they’ll also rise next week.

While the celebration of supercars past, present and future will keep Dad entertained, with stunning displays and thrilling on-track action, the kids will be kept busy with mini tanks, a Top Gear simulator, rib rides, extensive military displays, an extreme ropes adventure course and a fun fair.

This year’s event also sees the staging of the inaugural Motorshow Live! This Friday-only event gives car manufacturers the opportunity to demonstrate their latest models on track while enabling guests to test drive in a unique racing environment.

Further information and tickets are available at for the event at Cholmondeley Castle.
