Now blowing in at a playground near you – it’s that best-selling author bloke from Little Britain (in a chopper!)
If your kids like the idea of a helicopter touching down in the school yard and David Walliams stepping on to the tarmac armed with oodles of books, now is the chance to turn this little fantasy into a reality.
To mark World Book Day 2015, David Walliams has announced he will be flying up and down the country in a chopper, visiting schools to promote reading, and spreading the word about great books for children.
The author of Mr Stink, Awful Auntie and several other best-selling titles for kids will be ditching Simon Cowell and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judges to put reading for children firmly to the fore with #Walliams Whirlwind. To get your kids’ schools on his route for the day and get a visit from the Little Britain comedy giant, register their details at www.worldofdavidwalliams.com before 6 February 2015. World Book Day is on Thursday 5 March 2015. More information at worldbookday.com
