REVIEW: Nuts in Space by Elys Dolan

Sharing a book that gets the kids giggling to sleep is never a bad idea, and this cast of furry friends does just the job

With more than a little nod to Star Wars (you’ll get it, the kids won’t), Elys Dolan’s space adventure follows a fearless crew of furry animals who have found the Lost Nuts of Legend. If it all sounds a bit bonkers, that’s because it is, and there’s plenty of detail in the pictures so older kids can pore over the pages while the little ones will just love the cute characters. If your kids loved Elys’ last book, the outrageous Weasels, they’ll go nuts for this.

Nosy Crow, out now. Age: 3+
