Alton Towers launches Octonauts rollercoaster for Easter

Theme park resort opens ‘My First Coaster’ for your little ones in CBeebies Land

Following last year’s opening of CBeebies Land, Alton Towers Resort  launches their new ‘My First Coaster’ ride experience in time for Easter holidays. The ride, based on the popular children’s television show Octonauts, and named the ‘Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure,’ will see little thrill-seekers board the convoy of GUPs for a rescue mission with some of their favourite characters.

But Alton Towers Resort isn’t just for tots, and you’ll likely want to leave your little ‘uns with your partner for a bit and get your adrenalin pumping on their white-knuckle rides like The Smiler, the world’s first 14 looping rollercoaster; Rita; TH13TEEN; Nemesis Sub-Terra; Air; and the now iconic Nemesis and Oblivion.

You can extend your stay in one of Alton Towers Resort’s two hotels and make a getaway of it too. Located on the doorstep of everything the Resort has to offer, the Alton Towers and Splash Landings Hotels make a great base for an Easter mini-break adventure.

Theme park tickets start from £33.30 for children and £37.80 for adults. Kids under the age of four go free. Book online to take advantage of up to 25% off early book theme park tickets. Easter hotel packages start from just £170 per room, based on four sharing.
