REVIEW: THE BIG KNIGHTS

From the makers of Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, comes a new raucous animated-adventure full of gallantry, humour and playful mayhem

{youtube}vUzjRYMnjgc{/youtube}

What can a four-year-old Peppa Pig-besotted girl possibly have in common with her 38-year-old balding dad? A mutual admiration and respect for The Big Knights and Brian Blessed voice-overs apparently. Sir Boris (David Rintoul), finest swordsman in the world, and his brother Sir Morris (Blessed aka PP’s Grumpy Rabbit), not the finest swordsman in the world, but the most enthusiastic, and their noble pets, Sir Horace the dog, and Sir Doris the hamster are galloping onto the big screens next week, with some of the makers’ favourite episodes showing back-to-back adventures from Borovia. Bonkers but brilliant.
