TV Chef Jamie Oliver joins forces with the big guns to launch his 2015 Food Revolution campaign…
Super-cool big-name actors rapping in the name of healthy food for our kids? We’re down with that. Check out the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Jamie Cullum, Professor Green, Ed Sheeran and even Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, taking to the mic’ in order to raise awareness for one of Jamie Oliver’s most prolific petitions yet.
The clever campaign aims to get millions of children around the world eating healthy food. Jamie launched the petition on change.org, asking members of the G20 to introduce healthy eating programmes across the globe.
“I believe that it’s a child’s human right to be taught how to grow and cook fresh, nutritious food at school,” explains Jamie. “By fighting for every child’s right for quality food education, we can help reverse the global rise of obesity and diet-related disease.
“Together we can force governments around the world to stop ignoring this issue.”
And the plan seems to be going well. Jamie’s rap is taking over TV screens across the nation as we speak. So Nice one, Jamie. And nice one, Hugh.
