Snow Chick                                                                

Settle down on Christmas Eve’s Eve to enjoy this chilly little delight – narrated by national sweetheart Kate Winslet, Snow Chick details the journey of a young Emperor penguin from Antarctica. Expect the same lush and intimate footage we’ve come to expect from a BBC nature documentary – but without the gorier parts of the circle of life for a more family-friendly experience.  23rd December, 8.30pm

Take half an hour, if you can, to prize your little ‘un from their newest gadget or gizmo and catch the latest from those wonderfully talented people at Aardman animations. Follow all the events from Mossy Bottom Farm, where the farmer ends up, no small thanks to Shaun, with a couple of troublesome llamas on his hands.
