Celebrate New Year with Hyde Park Winter Wonderland’s Family Fun Day!

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is thrilled to announce the return of its Family Fun Day, this year held on Sunday 6th January 2019.

Marking the final day of festivities for the ultimate New Year celebration and perfect for the last day of the school holidays, the action-packed day will see the whole site go alcohol-free as it hosts a fun-filled day of events aimed specifically at families and children, including Circus Skills Workshops, Balloon Sculpting Sessions, a stunning Santa Parade and much more!

Seeing Hyde Park Winter Wonderland off in style, the special one-off Family Fun Day includes the chance for kids to get their faces painted for free by professionally trained make-up artists between 10am – 6pm. Children can also try out the fun-filled Circus Skills Workshops. Running throughout the day, these sessions will last 30 minutes.

As an added treat, Teletubbies and Zippo’s Circus stars will be available for a free meet and greet at the Megadome during the day – timings below:

Teletubbies – 12pm – 12.15pm

Circus Stars – 4.50pm – 5.20pm

Perfect for kids of all ages, Balloon Workshops will run from 10am – 6pm, whilst the Children’s Comedy Shows are guaranteed to entertain the entire family.

Professor Strange, a loud and lively character magician will also be touring Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. The charismatic magician performs crazy interactive walkabout magic that will make your jaw hit the floor in surprise!

The Santa Parade is the perfect opportunity to wave goodbye to Santa as he leaves his grotto for the final time at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. See a spectacular parade of stilt-walkers, jugglers, drummers, an Ice King and Queen, and Santa himself with his helper elves, which kicks off at 5pm.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland’s spectacular attractions will remain open throughout Sunday 6th January, including: the UK’s largest outdoor Ice Rink, The Magical Ice Kingdom’s Secret Forest, a special Relaxed Performance of Teletubbies Christmas Show, Peter Pan On Ice, Backyard Cinema’s The Snowman Experience, The Big Wheel with a little magic from Google Assistant, Zippos Christmas Circus, Cirque Berserk, Bar Hütte, Ice Sculpting Workshops as well as all of the thrill-seeking and adrenaline fuelled rides and rollercoasters.
