Halloween afternoon teas for frightfully fancy kids

Lurch was happy Mary Berry liked his cakes, but didn't know how to tell her she was munching on one of Paul Hollywood's eyeballs

Spoil your little princess rotten with a deliciously spooky Halloween themed afternoon tea at Lancaster London

For £30 per person you can go one better than a bag of sticky trick-or-treat sweets, with a peculiar-but-posh tea that includes frightfully delightful eyeball lollypops (chocolate, raspberry and passion fruit flavour); black macaroons with pumpkin filling; butternut squash tartlets; white chocolate and pistachio opera cakes; and pumpkin cupcakes.

More traditionally, fresh-out–the-oven scones (plain and raisin) will be served warm, with home-made strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream.

The fun afternoon tea is served in the hotel’s sumptuous first floor Lounge Bar from 2pm until 5.30pm.
