REVIEW: Sir Tony Robinson's Weird World of Wonders: Pets

The next title in the best-selling series is bound to please fans of the feathered and the furry

Sir Tony's pets are a very weird bunch

If you've never opened one of Sir Baldrick's fact-filled Weird World of Wonders series, this is as good a place to start as any. It's a clever format; four friendly cartoon characters – the Curiosity Crew – introduce some oddly interesting facts about pets that will entertain and amuse, and yes, they're bound to educate too. It's got everything from Egyptian cat mummies to tips to keep your guinea pigs happy, so whether the kids are potty about pets or just interested in animal trivia, there's all kinds of fascinating stuff contained right here. There's even a section on pets in the White House featuring a photo of Teddy Roosevelt's one-legged rooster. Told you it was a weird world.
