Thanks guys. I've started contact with mediators but haven't booked the court MIAM yet. Hopefully I can get this done next working day on Tuesday

In the meantime I'll start filling out the C100 I guess.

Should I register with CMS now? Obviously I don't want her to find out what I'm doing incase she leaves the country

I think it is important that you register with CMS asap, but I understand your concerns. This is why I would call the police. If you really think a call to CMS will trigger her (and I believe you...there are mothers who are THAT irrational), then explain that to them to see if they can do anything, explain everything else, as well as that you need to register for CMS asap but need their help. The worst that can happen is that they say they can't do anything, which is unlikely. I am sure they will do something, even if it's just make a log. And on that note, make sure you ask the police for the log number, and make a note of it for future reference. Also, should your ex doing anything drastic and you have Cafcass/Social Services/the court asking you why you didn't warn the police of your ex's intentions beforehand, you can show them the log number. In my experience, it is always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared.

hi,

i think your priority is to make police aware, incase she leaves the country with kids. then file the c100 ASAP. then can sort out CMS.

Hi Guys, it has been 2 weeks since I last posted here. Certain things happened which has delayed me submitting the C100 but ultimately what has happened should be giving me a better case. Pls PM me if you want details.

Anyway, after the threats etc and a conversation with Reunite I am advised to make 2 x C100 applications

One for a urgent Prohibited Steps Order on a ex parte basis including a Passport Order and maybe a Port Alert Order. This is to be submitted to the Family Division of the High Court, seated at the Royal Court of Justice. I already have page 9 of the C100 signed by MediateUK

The second C100 to the family court to start proceedings for a CAO.

Does this process seem okay?
Should I ask a solicitor to help me now or at a later stage?
Am I right in assuming I don't need much of a statement now or much evidence until a later hearing?

Thanks guys

hi,

i think 2 c100 applications are not necessary and 1 should be enough, check out the c100 page here, the PAGE 1 part:

www.mediateuk.co.uk/the-ultimate-guide-t...pleting-a-c100-form/

you have 3 options to choose from and you can tick more than one:

-CAO
-PSO
-SIO

they can complete form for you but will charge. solicitor will cost you tonnes. maybe use them at later stage.
you can speak to many that offer free consultation.

you can ring mediateuk and ask them to confirm if only one c100 application is required.

I was advised to file seperately because to get the passport order I would need a hearing at the High Court.

ok. I applied for CAO, and at 1st or 2nd hearing, ex' team got court to order me to hand over kids passport, so I did.

I'm currently waiting for a first hearing. After seeking legal advice today I was advised to get some of her voice recordings transcribed/translated by a court accredited translation service.

Can anyone recommend one?

If you Google 'accredited court transcription' it brings up a load of different companies offering certified transcription. If that's what you mean?

Yes I have found many but they all say they are certified without saying what certification they have, furthermore I can't seem to find what makes a translation "court accredited". I'm getting quotes around £150. Don't want to pay then find out can't be used because the company certified themselves

Anyone know how long the process takes? I submitted the C100 online about 9 days ago as a Urgent Hearing. I have heard nothing back.

After my submission I get the confirmation email which says I can contact the court for more info about this application through - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., but I get no response

I have also tried called the Central Family Court on 020 7421 8594 but have never got through to anyone.

Any ideas what I could do?
