I have had enough of all of this now. I got refused all sorts on contact on fathers day, second year in a row now. I had a failed facetime call with my girls this weekend, I understand technology sometimes does not work, we have had no issues with facetime calls up until this weekend, I tried to answer it but it failed to connect, i messaged my ex to say as it is not working, I will accept a standard phone call instead, and I got nothing back. Since COVID, I have not seen my girsl since the 7th March, my solicitor contacted my ex pushing to restart contact, but she is now making up further accusations that i beat up her son so he wont supervise (even though it should be unsupervised) this is a new allegation, she has had her chance to bring this up to CAFCASS several times. So she is clearly starting another made up story to prevent me seeing my kids again.

I just give up as all through this trial, they lap her BS and do not allow me to show evidence and just take her word for it. This entire system is messed up and does not help fathers at all.

hi,

sorry to hear that. when was the last time you went through the courts?
hopefully she comes to her senses. otherwise it would be back to court again, but as you mentioned, you don't want to and had enough.

I feel you.

I gave my son a new phone - She took the phone away from them and hid it.
they had 2 Tablets and both of them broke.
forcing me to channel all contact with the kids through EX's phone, she then said I was constantly calling and put a NMO against me for harassment.

When i emailed her solicitor(costing £17 each) didn't get a response from there solicitor or a 2 week "delay". - so now I've chosen to represent myself.

Cafcass also reported no abuse to the kids but instead allegations between both parents.
Contacted social services and they said to get the report from Cafcass and send it over to them to action.

Its hard but hang in there i feel your pain, the systems getting exposed with forums like this, keep raising the issue and the people are very helpful here.

The final hearing was back in December, I was seeing them ever two weeks, it was supposed to be unsupervised but she made up a load of more lies to stop this happening. I submitted a C79 at the end of March, heard nothing back as of yet. But the fact is, she is now making up more lies (me abusing her son and my all of my family abusing her) none of which is true, but from previous experience, they just take her word for it and I get stopped seeing my children again. It is a vicious circle and a circle I no longer want to keep repeating.

It is unfair on my children, but they stress and money is costing me just does not feel worth it anymore.

Hang in there. Pursue the C79, and insist on adequate enforcement. Say what you have now is not working and it is time for some meaningful action.

Stick in there mate, It's natural to have a wobble it's so tough I've had 10 years of it, I havent seen my girl for 5 weeks as the mum has started all the usual allegations ect, I'm just about to go to court for the 3rd time.

try and let it not take over your life try and get your head into a good place, take care of yourself try and eat well and sleep well, try and do things to take your mind off the situation, I've felt like giving up on many occasion but I still keep on plugging away, feel for you man.

take care

I'm no way trained in Family court matters so don't take my ramblings as gospel but I've been through the Court mill and learned so much along the way I just like passing my experience on to other Dads who face this absolute nightmare from hell, you might not be able to beat the system but don't let it beat you :)
