I had my telephone interview with cafcass this morning. I think it was the nicest person I have dealt with from there to date. They have informed me they have no concerns what so ever and will be ordering the court that the unsupervised contact resumes immediately. They feel her reasoning behind stopping contact was not really justified, but i know she will still make it as hard as possible and appeal it again. The hearing is not until 19th August, so just a couple of weeks to wait.

I honestly give up. Go tthe latest safe guarding letter, after what I thought was a positive phone interview with them. And it is full of further accusations which where not even discussed with me on the call and the first I have heard of them. I mean what is the f**king point in cafcass? I give up now, there is no winning for us. They clearly just favour the mother, they are so biased it is beyond a joke now.

Hi,

Are you sure it is not a case of after your call they fed back the positive outcome and your ex has then put forward further allegations? These obviously couldn't have been discussed with you on the call.

Unfortunately as we know the resident parent will continuously raise allegations/objections knowing that the courts/Cafcass will be forced to investigate them as they err on the side of caution and thus delay contact.

In situations like this you just have to remain calm, take a moment out and persevere with the process. Most importantly not let it get to you as if Cafcass see that or especially your ex then she will know you are being worn down..

They did not mention to me they would call her back. All of my concerns were completely ignored, the fact she lied to the court about police calls outs, cafcass have failed to raise that these were false, that she reported i breached the non mol, again a false claim and they did not mention that. The fact she is manipulating the kids on the phone calls that i had to fight for to get, ignored and not noted. Even though i can prove all of this, Lying to the courts that my kids have medical conditions so severe i cannot look after them, i have a copy of the medical records, no conditions at all. Did they report that, no. Because i am male, I honestly give up, i really do. they are biased and do not give one ounce of care about the damage this is doing to my kids and me.

hi,

the first safeguarding call is pretty basic. they will not have enough time to go through every single allegation with you. those stupid allegations are designed to rile you up, so don't let them get to you. I had a 2nd round of court hearings this year, so was expecting my ex to make crap up.

you will get more time to clear things up during the section 7 report when they decide to do that.

This is off the back of me enforcing the order, A section 7 report was carried out over a year ago, the final hearing was in December. This was the the second safe guarding call I have had now. The fact that the concerns raised by my ex were not discussed on the phone and the fact my concerns were no listed is just unacceptable. This is how it will go on forever now, she can say what ever she likes, they do not investigate it, just take her word for it and I have to apply to court again. This means waiting months for another hearing, months without seeing my kids again, and this will just repeat. I thought cafcass were there to help kids, not bash men and take the mothers side each time.

I am writing a complaint to cafcass as this is just not acceptable. The fact my daughter reached out at a contact centre telling me mt ex's boyfriend hits her has been ignored completely. SS did nothing, cafcass ignored it. I was advised by the contact centre to raise this to SS as they were concerned. How is this even fair?
