I have been having my children over every other Saturday as an interim court order since June having seen them once in 12 previous months after their mother stopped contact.
After every contact day with me, my children are seemingly interrogated by their mother who then fires accusations at me such as one of my children was poorly behaved the night before coming to mine. The eldest has been saying that she doesnt want to stop over night as she feels more comfortable with her mother. The children used to be 50/50 but sleeping over was stopped by the mother 2 years ago.
CAFCASS are recommending that contact builds up to inude every other weekend but their mum days that this will go against the childrens (age 8 and 5) wishes.
My argument is that of course tbe children children may be a bit uncomfortable to begin with as they have become used to stopping at mum's all the time as she reduced and stopped contact.
