Hi,

Im not sure if this is the right section to post in, i recently posted about my childs mothers use of drugs in the home, but she has now she has been very down and even mentioned she feels a bit of post natal depression, on multiple occasion I have asked her to speak to a doctor and she wont. This also appears to be effecting my son, as when i pick him up his clothes are not cleaned correctly or not dried after cleaning, the same with his bottles.

Im really stuck at the moment as to what to do, I have tried to guide her into the right place but im starting to worry about my son more and more.

If you can't get mum to seek help, perhaps you can try to seek help in supporting her? PND is very tricky - it might be worth having a look at this site

I have several years experience supporting parents in family proceedings as a McKenzie Friend. I am, however, not a lawyer or barrister and my responses are based on my own opinions or experiences of the family court.
