Hi There,

you should be able to view on your phone and sign in as well different phones will have different access though, I thought that it was possible to access full on android though i don't use one,

you might be able to download a different browser app that would allow better access,

a dadtalk app would be good though!

I access and post to the forum quite a bit from my phone - I'm using an HTC desire HD which is Android 2.3. What happens when you try to sign in?

Thanks for your replies,
I think a dadtalk app would be great.
But saying that I have found the :} problem,
It's me! I didn't have my cookie settings on Doh!

I'm for the Dadtalk app - but i suspect we might need to start fund raising!!! How much does an app cost to develop £10k? £20k?

Im sure i saw an advertiser who will turn your web site into an app for £5 on either the fivrr site or fivesquid site. Could of been a scam though! I am quite naive :p

Does anyone know a bright teenager looking to make an app for their IT project!!

Do other sites have an app?

I think one of the Android forums has an app but I'm not convinced that it would add anything to the forum experience.

Do not think it will add anything over the mobile site, except that you would not need to be logged in via your phone browser which is annoying at times.

I know this is raking up a bit of an old thread, but creating a mobile site SHOULD be pretty straight forward. The forum is on an open source platform so development for a mobile version is more than likely out there already; just a case of updating the core site (looks like Joomla with a forum plugin).

Of course a dedicated App could be developed, for Android it should be fairly simple given their SDK is free and available to play with, Apple however is a pest and would be infintley more challenging.

I run a site for Scottish Subaru owners, luckily the software I use to run the forum has a cracking mobile theme, all I did was setup the site to regognise the user agent from the browser and apply the style when appropriate.
