Disaster appeals have been launched but the Burmese government are stopping aid from reaching the people. I would like to help but is it prudent? Will my money reach the people in need?

Tricky one. I'm more inclined to give towards the China earthquake relief as they seem to be actually doing something.
Which planet are those Burmese generals on?

I agree i have supported te Cina appeal but through a mates charity that works and houses orphans - he has been set up 10 years so i know the money hits the ground running.

It is difficult as the Gov in Burma are just in denial and that makes me think my £ wont do a thing to help those in need there. Better of spending my time lobbying UK Gov via local MPs to get something done.
