Hi I guess it's the nature of the site, people find us when they are most in need.

For me as much as I'd love to know how they all got on, I know they know where to come for help when they need it.

And all that said I am nosey Lol

But I do agree it would be great for the dads to stick around and join in.

I think thats the strength of this site. Not necessarily the answers people give, but more the fact that there are others in the same boat or often worse off than us. Long may the support and friendships continue!

I think I may just be nosey

I'm probably in the minority here as by the time I found this site, my own case was well and truly sorted (at eye watering expense) - in a way, even though I'm through it, it's still interesting (comforting is the wrong word) that others have been through similar, sometimes worse, situations than I went through, and I'm more than happy to help others to find a solution.

Personally, in the years that I have been involved with DadTalk and then the new and improved DAD.info I have seen so many dad stories (and in some cases mums as well) that I would love to know the outcomes of each and every member of the community.

I too echo the call for dads to stay, share your journey, your moments of triumph and personal lows. If nothing else your experiences are vastly useful to other dads experiencing similar situations and journeys to yourself.

Been thinking about this thread over the last couple of days. It occurred to me that we should celebrate what we have all achieved over the last few years.

With nearly 6,000 members now we really should invite as many members as possible to come back to the site on a specific day and share their journeys, successes, low moments and generally update us. I think it would be soooo cool.

Maybe a one sat or sun in November?

Anyone else think this is a good idea ?

You should call the thread "What Dad.Info has done for me" and get everyone to put one sentence what they have got from the site - Think it could be great!!!

From a purely personal point of view, how on earth am I going to keep up with all the posts if we do that? :D

Excellent idea though, would be nice to catch up with a few names from the past.
