Hi Folks

I have twins who are now both teenagers. I have a fair few videos of them when they were babies and toddlers. i.e. recordings of when they were in hospital, starting to walk, first day at school etc etc.

What is the best way to keep these video copies safe? i.e. I don't want them stolen in a break in etc !!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You should back up the videos on to a stable media such as CD/DVD or memory stick and then probably keep copies of these.

Tape/video can and will deteriorate over time.

You could make electronic copies and give to family members or keep in a fireproof safe.

Just my 2 cents.

Regards,

Dave

I've been putting that off for over 6 months now. The problem is it's in an awkward place to get at - at some point I'll get my son to give me a hand to drag it out to somewhere more convenient so I can try a few numbers each night, but if that doesn't work, then the angle grinder will have to come out :boohoo:
