Hi Folks

The hinges on my fridge door need replacing. I contacted the supplier who said they will cost £62 each, although the entire in built fridge cost me less than £200 !

Surely, there must be other places where I could get them cheaper? However, when I have looked online, the website usually shows the dimensions of the hinges. I have no idea of the dimensions of the hinges that I already have. The only way to find out would probably be by unscrewing one of the hinges from the door and actually measuring it.

Has anybody got a better solution?

Thanks.

Hi,

I would do just that take the hinge off, but I would take it along to somewhere like B&Q and see if they have something that would match up.

I use www.buyspares.co.uk good for white good spares. I also have got shelves for the fridge from there but not sure they do hinges.

May be best to whip one off and take it with you to B&Q or other hardware store.

Can you find an exp[loded diagram on the net and get the part number and order it online??

Also, try www.espares.co.uk/

Find the model number of your fridge and try espares or buyspares and hopefully you'll get the part number and price you need. Did that a year back for my fridge also - hinges do tend to be quite specific to the make/model of the fridge.
