Very chilled out this year....we went out for Xmas dinner which was lovely, and everyone loved their gifts! Still lots of food to munch through though, and films to watch!

Thanks for asking Gooner, how was yours?

Mum and Grandmother, supporting my son who has residency of his son.
I want to see a much fairer system in place, where Dads and their children have a voice that can be heard.
There are many groups of people that have equal rights within our society and its about time Dads were given equal rights too.

Been a quiet one with me, 3 of us for christmas lunch, then in laws around in the evening.

Had a drive to Bournemouth yesterday for a walk as my stepson had gone to his dads, it rained the whole time though Lol.

I was dreading it to be honest but it's actually turned out quite well to be fair, I got to see my Girl for 4 hours on xmas eve which was amazing and we've got our bond back completely, I was still abit lost as what to do until the start of jan when I start seeing her weekly so I bit the bullet and went to see my family 100 miles away on xmas day.

I had not been to pay my respects to the closest person to me who past away 8 years ago in the past year as I felt awkward in a way as I wasn't seeing my Daughter and I knew I would of got into a mess if Idid so on xmas morning I went to the cemetery and had a chill at her grave, went to see her tree and popped my head in the little church, there was hundreds of other people down there and there was a strangely nice atmosphere, I don't believe in anything but it was a nice thing to do and it felt good :)

I had christmas dinner with my grandparents and cousins which was great and popped to see other members of my family whilst I was up there.

On boxing day I went on 24/7 callout and I've been hammered with callouts ever since I've only been getting out of bed to go to work and `I'm using the days in lieu to have a week off in jan and I'm using the double pay for dj adventures next year :)

Christmas 2014 has turned out better than expected to be fair and It's been great chilling out after a years worth of hell through the courts :)

I'm no way trained in Family court matters so don't take my ramblings as gospel but I've been through the Court mill and learned so much along the way I just like passing my experience on to other Dads who face this absolute nightmare from hell, you might not be able to beat the system but don't let it beat you :)

Not too bad for us although sons ex stopped all contact the weekend before Christmas and there are no officials that we can speak to until new year. So this has put a damper on things yet again. Still live in the hope that the judge/cafcass etc will give the ex what she deserves but they never do.

Hope you have all had a reasonable Christmas. x

Wow a real mixed bag for everyone then, some good some not so.

Slim - it's great that you got to see your daughter on Xmas eve. That must have been special.

I had a nice quiet one as daughter was at her boyfriends house so me and Mrs Goonerplum had a quiet chilled day.

I really hope 2015 is an excellent year for everyone.

Its been a crazy packed fun filled christmas for us. my two children have had some quality santa experiences the first being at Keele hall. where we had lunch with the big man, in my opinion there is noting worse than a young spotty santa in a suit made by poundland and an elasticated beard. We also went the snowdome for some sledging and snow play in the thought that we wouldn't get any....and a week later down it fell.

Happy New Year to you all!!

Very hard Christmas without my daughter, but relaxed with family and ate plenty food. I did see my daughter 3 days before Christmas for an hour and a half in a contact centre. So I was able to give her all her Christmas presents! Can't wait for my review hearing in three weeks. Hopefully I can push for unsupervised contact

Hope you all had a Good Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I know life is really hard for most of us on here as we struggle to be apart of our children's lives but have faith, believe and keep strong!
