Hi, I saw my kids at a contact centre briefly, but they are a fair bit older (3 and 6) I would expect that your ex will bring a bag with nappies and possibly milk for them. But I would bring your own just in case. Bring a new cuddly toy for them or another age suitable gift. The person who will be observing you will take notes on how attentive you are and that you were prepared to meet the childs needs. So check the nappy every hour or so. From my expierence, they are un-biased people, treat the staff there nicely and be respectful. My reports came back really positive which worked well for me.

Regarding the birth certificate, i am unsure what you can do about that, i think your ex would have to agree to it. But good luck at the contact centre, and enjoy the time with your little one!!

hi,

be well prepared. mine is a heartless cow, even refused to give a pushchair for the baby lol. since i had child for just 2 and a half hours, i had to have food and nappies available.

really thats really sad that she not allowing you to have the pushchair and it really childish to be honest i could see my ex's mother causing my ex to not give me the chair or anything so i will defos getting everything i need before. im just waiting for a phone call to get everything sorted which i dont know when that will be.
how is the contact centre ?

The centre I used had various rooms, all have plenty of suitable seating and lots of toys and colouring books etc. I would imagine as your kid is so young, they may have a room more suitable for them. You are usually just in one room on your own with the person supervising sat in the corner quietly and taking notes. I hope it all goes well and enjoy your time with your little one. Hopefully you get more time with them soon enough.
