I'm not sure if an agreement drawn up by a solicitor would be legally binding. You could ask if she would be prepared to go to mediation, for the purpose of drawing up a Memorandum of Understanding, which you could then submit to court to obtain a consent order about this specific issue.

In simple terms, an agreement is only really legally binding as much as both of you abide by it - if she choses not to do so, then you end up in court and the hope is that a court will agree that the letter should be made into a court order.
