Has anyone experienced this from ex after a court order??? 1 year 2 months ago #91706

Hi all bit of advise please.
Two weeks ago i had my final hearing at court (represented my self) i got the access to my 2 year old son i wanted. The first time i dropped my son off at the Exes house i received a text message saying my son had a scratch on his tummy could i explain this. So i rang her and told her i had know idea how it got there and asked her to send me a photo of the scratch which she did not.

Today i picked him 15 mins early and dropped him off 15 mins early shes now saying shes ringing the courts tomorrow because im not sticking to the court order. She asked me what ive gave to eat so i told her because it wasnt a cooked meal she went off on one.

I was thinking about ringing CAFCASS let them know whats been happening what do you think??
Thanks in advance.

Hi There,

You could contact cafcass, and let them know what has happened, get things on record, but I would imagine that the case with them is closed.

I would continue the way you are, courts wouldn't normally find an issue with dropping or collecting 15 mins either side of agreed times, this would be looked at as slight flexibility due to things like traffic ect. I would try and keep to as close to the agreed times as possible, if that means sitting around the corner for 5-10 mins if you are early then I would (I used too Lol)

Good Luck and keep us posted.

Keep a diary of everything, even when it's going smoothly. Take photos if possible - make sure settings on your phone record date and time of the photo. Just might be useful in the future.

Agree with mavic, she’s probably feeling aggravated that you took it to court, just try and abide by the order. There likely to come a time when she will want you to be flexible too, hopefully things should settle down.

All the best.
