TOPIC: Legal Aid

Legal Aid 11 months 1 week ago #94163

I have found some further info online and there is no time limit on how long after she can claim, however proof of DV is required in a list of stated formats, such as police report etc.
If someone is claming Legal Aid by not being honest, can you challenge or report it ?

Yes I remember now... it was 2yrs, then it was 5yrs, and in Feb 18 they changed it to no limit.

You could try contacting the legal aid agency, to discuss your concerns. Here's a link, if you suspect that a party to proceeding has lied in court, or is receiving legal aid falsely.

DadTalk Moderator... I'm not legally trained and my responses are my own views based on my experiences of the family court. I have plenty of common sense and can offer you emotional support and guide you to answers.
