I need some help myself and my ex partner recently broke up. I moved out of the family house and moved roughly ten minutes drive away so i was not to far away from them. When I say them we have a 1 and a half year old daughter together. Upon first moving out i was seeing my daughter regularly by either coming up to get her myself or having her dropped down to my place. I'm very much a hands on father i always have been which has bore its fruits in the fact that my daughter is very much a daddy's girl. I've always been a supportive person when it came to my daughter as well whatever she needed she got regardless of the price.
My ex partner is a few years younger than me so there was always this age gap and i guess there was this gap in maturity as well which was evident in the fact that when we was still together she would go "visiting" an old school friend whom happened to be male and on occasions would "apparently" miss the Last train back home on several occasions so she would end up having to stay at his leaving me with out daughter knowing i had to be up early for work the next morning on occasions. Cutting to the chase a bit. I moved out because our relationship fell apart and pretty much whilst my bed was still warm he moved in.
We are now at the stage where my Ex Partner has decided that just because she doesn't want me in her life anymore my daughter so say doesn't need me in hers either and as a result I now haven't seen my little girl in almost 2 weeks. I want to see my little girl again and parent her 50/50 with her mother. I'm not bitter about this new guy because in all honesty I don't really care because my Daughter is the only Person that matters to me. I'm Civil to the point where I send a text most days asking how she is and I always make sure every Night i send a Good night Message telling her how much i love her at her bed time. In addition to this every week I make sure I get tesco to do a home delivery of supplies such as baby milk, nappies, wipes, food and depending on whats about Toys and Fresh clothes to my Ex Partners door. This comes straight from my back account so it shows up on my statements and i also get email confirmation of what I order each week and where it's going too as well.
I want to firstly be able to see my daughter again regularly and also have her live with me 50/50 percent of the time.
Hi , horrible when they decide to cut you out your kids lives because they don’t want you in theirs . Anywhoo
You need to do a Miam ( mediation) session 1st and hopefully there you can agreee arrangements for contact and the mediator can then send off to the court to make the agreement into an order that is legally binding . If you can’t agree in mediation you get the mediator to sign a form and you then apply to court . £215 fee ..
