Why are you making this application? 2 weeks 5 days ago #102588

Hi all,

I’m new here.. I’m starting to pull out my hair with this part of the online form “ Why are you making this application?”

I went to A mediation today to be issued a C100 form.

I have made notes with regards to what I would like which is the same as our personal agreement. But things are quite frustrating at the moment, because it seems to be on her terms all the time.

Our personal agreement has broken down, my ex seems to dictate when I can have my son.

Our personal agreement is as follows as I work a set shift pattern now.

Week 1) Tue for tea (picked up from school) Friday from school and returns Sunday at 7pm

Week 2) Tuesday from school returned on Thursday at 7pm.. Sunday dropped off in the morning pick up at 7pm

2 weeks consecutive in school summer holidays. Inc Going abroad

Remaining school holidays shared

Father’s Day
Dads birthday
Childs birthday (alternative)

Alternative Christmas and New year

Hi you just have to say something allowing the lines of “ applying for an order laying down where the child (ren ) is to live and when they are to spend time with the other parent as the mother is denying contact or words to that effect . When I went to court they didn’t really refer back to the application anyways . So just be clear to them as to why you are in court .

hi there,

if you are having difficulty completing the form, please contact this organisation:

support through court: www.supportthroughcourt.org

they will sit with you and complete the form, at no cost.

as citydad mentioned, there is no need to go into great detail in the application form. you just briefly give a reason: such as mother refuses to allow children to stay overnight with father. or mother reducing contact and this is having negative effects on the children etc and you are seeking more time with your children.

you can go into greater detail and mention your rota when you write up a position statement.
