I am currently in a court battle over my two sons.
As my ex-wife made a series of false allegations of abuse, the court has ordered a fact finding hearing. To keep this brief, she has no evidence of any abuse (because it didn't happen) and quite frankly I feel her motivation was to simply slow the whole process down. Despite claiming to be scared of me, she has frequently gone against her own request to talk through her solicitor and contact me directly. It's also worth noting that the allegations barely mention the boys.
My question is how exactly will the fact finding hearing work? We both have to send a list of questions that we intend to ask each other's witnesses in what I suppose is a form of cross-examination. I note however that it will apparently be the judge that actually asks these questions.
Will we just all be cross-examined or will we be asked to make additional statements?
