Contact social services, they will know who best to help. Might also be worth trying the local YMCA.

There’s a couple of organisations that may be able to help.

There’s the Huddersfield Mission - 01484 421461

The Welcome Centre - 01484515086

They’re community hubs helping people out, if they can’t help I’m sure they can point you in the right direction. They’re both on Lord Street.

You might also be able to get some kind of emergency loan if you’re on benefits, the job centre should be able to give you some info on that. The council offices are likely to have some kind of advice/support service, so I’d check with them too.

All the best

I'm not a lawyer or barrister and my responses are based on my own opinions or experiences of the family court.

I may not be legally trained... but I have plenty of experience and common sense!
