Hi everyone. My Scott Schedule and witness statements had to be serves and files on 25 th October 2019. As did my GP medical records. Its been over 3 weeks, and have still not received any thing from my wife's solicitor. I'm in Court with her this Thursday and what will happen if I've still not had hers? I'm not sure if she's not done it yet or her solicitor hasn't? I'm going to ask for interim contact with my children as its been 5 months I've still not seen them due to my wifes allegations. Would this mean the court be adjourned? We have a 3 day fact finding hearing end of January as well. I'm beyond desperate to see my children. Thank you for your time and help...

Hi Devo, have you tried contacting the court and asking them if they have received it and if they can share it with you or contact her solicitor and ask for an update. It doesnt seem fair if you do not get a copy of it before the hearing. I would suggest calling the courts and checking with them first.

If there is any sign of a delay in proceedings, I would suggest you request contact at a supervised contact centre in the interim.

Good luck with it all and let us know how you get on!!

My ex refused to submit a thing so my fact find was cancelled and the next hearing was changed into a final hearing ...no consequence for them not complying with the order

hi,

I would caution the use of contact centres. if cafcass or court point in direction of contact centre, then looks like it will have to be that way. better not to suggest it in first place, and recommend perhaps supervised contact e.g devo's family member be present when he is with his kids. hopefully it is established that there are no safeguarding risks to child, so really there should be no need for contact centres.
