
Dad Info is run by Spurgeons, a nationwide children’s charity. Our Family Support Library is available 24/7, providing advice and tips on a variety of topics for parents. Our resources and courses also provide completely free, in-depth support.
What does the Family Support Library offer?
The library of advice articles is separated into categories, including:
- Early years
- Family life
- Teenagers
- Behaviour and emotions
- School life and bullying
- Bedtime and sleep
- Online safety
- SEN
- Mental health
- Separation and divorce.
The advice in the articles is informed by our in-house counselling and parenting experts.
What resources and courses are available?
The Spurgeons’ Digital Family Hub contains various free resources, including:
- Mental health resources, including helpful tools such as a self-harm safety plan, and how to manage intrusive thoughts
- Free downloads for children with SEN, including an ABC chart and sensory profile
- Domestic abuse information and advice
- Information and advice about disordered eating
- Advice and information about healthy relationships
- Free tools to support your child, including an emotions wheel and a downloadable wellbeing plan
- Free, relaxing breathing and meditation videos for both you and your child, including box breathing and rainbow breathing
- A completely free Parenting After Separation course, which was created by our family practitioners to help you create a new life with your child after a split
- Courses for parents of autistic children.
