My son will be 18 the end of September. He has left school on 30/5 and per a Facebook post has been accepted into uni to study social science removed link I contacted the cma to advise and was told that until she contacts Child benefit I’ve still to pay. But if she owes me any money I’ve to take her to court to get this back. I was late with 1 payment 3 days as I cancelled my Standing order and now they have said I need to go onto direct pay even when I made the payment. Which is now a extra 300 I called to advise what I did on the Monday after noticing the SO not going out my account to say I paid it and it was my mistake. But they have since lettered 14 days later saying direct pay, which I think she hasn’t told them I’ve paid the payment . Proof is sent to them to review my case. What I really want to know is when I stop paying as I keep getting different advice from the call handler . 1 said the last payment will be 1/9 another has said until she contacts Child benefit I’ve to pay and another has told me I’ve to pay till may 26 even when he’s at uni . I’m in Scotland
