Good morning all,

I'm trying to find out if any of the following can be claimed as special expenses for CMS?

Fuel to and from kids.

Court costs e.g. application and solicitor costs.

Contact centre costs.

Thanks all.

hi,

you can claim for fuel expenses for child contact, but it has to be above £10 a week.

they won't accept expenses for legal proceedings. theres possibility they may accept contact center costs.

@atwindad not sure, if you ask CMS they will tell you how to work it out.

I have this vague recollection that you have to provide fuel receipts - presumably you'd claim less than this unless you are travelling a long distance, and I suppose if the CMS think the amount is unreasonable, then you might have to justify the costs.
