Hi All....

I have a 2 year old son that I have 3 nights a week, im 27 and work full time. My ex has decided that she wants to go through the CSA to claim maintenance opposed to a FBA as she thinks she will get more money - this is fine with me. However, she is 30 and has a new bf who is just 19. He has been dropping off my son to me quite regularly now which i am not happy about, do I have any rights in saying that it her her parental responsibility to drop off our son and not her 19yo boyfriends?

Im not sure where I stand as it seems the 'mother' gets to dictate all???!!!

Hi There,

You can request that it's your ex drops off but I think you would have issues if you tried to enforce it, even if you ended up in court I don't think the judge would enforce anything unless there was a cause for concern.

I would try mediation to see if you can come up with an agreement that will help to ease the conflict.

I agree with GTTS...try and mediate a way through this.
