Has anybody else had this issue? I always paid my CSA, my daughter left full time education 6.5 years ago, I thought the case was closed but the CSA have just come back saying that I 'owe' money. Their 'pay up, or else' letter came about a week ago, this is the first I've heard from them in the 6.5 years . Has anybody else had this experience? I am going through their complaints procedure but would like to make other people aware and to ask for written final confirmation that their case is closed. I have absolutely no idea where this money will be going to but will find out!
thats no rigth? you life hads moved on? i am trying to finish with the csa. they told me my case was closed in jan 2013?
i got the prof that my case should have finish sep 2010?
now that csa are saying i have back dated money to pay off?
i have payed 2 and a half years to much?
how can they get away with this?

Hi Tommy, thanks for your reply. I am just going through the CSA complaint procedure first, see how I get on and then I will contact my MP. I am trying to publicise this as much as possible so other people have an opportunity to get, in writing, confirmation that no further monies are owed. Unfortunately, all my paperwork was destroyed on my recent move as, after 6.5 years you think that everything is okay! I have asked them for exact details, how the 'arrear' was discovered and for them to provide copies of all communication and their relevant policies and procedures as the woman I spoke to on the phone didn't seem to know anything! Shall let you know how I get on and what I did.

the child support have changed that much they do not know whats going.
they will need to tell you everything and need to know all your out going as well before they can ask you for more money?
what a joke? when are we free of this. you would think after 19 years you are free?
the csa should take care of on going cases 1st and make sure they can run them rigth?
supporting children not debt collectoin services is what the csa stands for
Totally agree Tommy and I like your comment about a debt collection service, I will use that if I need to contact my MP. I believe this is their mistake, it is the first I have heard from them in 6.5 years and I feel that they are just trying to get money any way they can - I have asked them where this money is going to (it is certainly not going to my daughter who lives down the street from me and is 23 now!) and how the 'arrear' was discovered. I am prepared to ask the national press to print a letter regarding this as I feel so strongly but will wait to see what the outcome is. Thye haven't asked me for my outgoings, thank you for this, I will mention this also because as you suggest, things do change, certainly in over 6 years! It is quite bad when one of their staff couldn't even tell me any information.
this old happen to me. i was told that i would have to pay untill my son was 20 years old. ( i do not talk to my son or his mym)
i had to find out when he finish college and get the csa the prof ??? i should have finish paying 2 and haft years ago, not this year.
now the csa are saying i have outstanding arreas.
