I have been paying my ex child maintenance for a few years and have since had another child with my new partner whom I live with. I wanted to know when I inform CMS of my child with my new partner, will CMS give the details of my child to my ex , such as name, date of birth, my new address etc. when they work out the new maintenance calculation?

I Don't think CMS will disclose childs full details. They may mention childs first name. If you want it to be kept confidential, you should call CMS on 0800 171 2345
