Does anyone know:
What happens when the absent parent claims to have the children an average of one night per week (with dates), and the resident parent disputes this, saying the children weren't with him and were, in fact, doing soemthing esle on the dates that he claims, and the CSA are involved?
How do the CSA resolve this when making an assessment for maintenance?
It is essentialyy one word against the other.
Presumably the CSA come accross this situation, quite a lot?

This does happen a lot, and They have to make a call one way or the other, When this happened to me they sided with my ex and there wasn't anything I could do apart from continue my case through court and have everything written into an order which stated my son would be with me for 2 nights every other week, after the court order had been in place for 2-3 months and then went back to them with my own proof of dates ect.
It does seem that evidence counts when talking to the CSA, although they didn't want to see my evidence, the fact I had it seemed to work in my favour.
