Sorry to ask a silly questions.
Partner pays me CMS however she has been signed off for roughly 6 months since the date when the amount was set by CMS.
When they recalculate the amount in next April will HMRC take into consideration that her pay has reduced regardless of if she still holds the same job and salary.

when CMS do next annual review, they just check the income info held by HMRC. if paying parent is on benefits, then maintenance payment will be very low.
