I had my annual review with CSA and have recently been medically discharged from work (following long sickness period of 12 months). I advised I receive new style ESA but they have calculated income as 0 and said no payments due. I'm sure when receiving a benefit you still need to pay a flat rate? I've phoned and done webchat but I feel dismissed and that I'll end up with arrears later in the year if not resolved. I don't feel right not paying anything and have continued to send £10 a week in line with before.
The online change reporting also doesn't seem to allow ESA to be added.
Anyone else had this issue? How did you resolve it?
Thanks in advance.
yes I would have thought they will make you pay £7 a week. has CMS written to you and mentioned they are aware you get ESA?
