Still on a DOE after 20months - HELP

Hi all,

I can not stress how poorly ran the CMS is. The website to update is rubbish and contacting them, even when you get through is touch and go if they ever do the job properly for them to change anything.

For me to be on a DOE initially was wrong IMO but they didn't listen, and i just got on with it. Since then, i have had no joy getting back to DD and then direct pay after 20 months.

DD was agreed as a collect and pay on 21st sept to CMS then on to direct pay after. DD was showing in the system and i thought that was that. since then i have rang up every month and tell them i am still on a DOE & i should be on Direct pay by now. I just think they still just want the 20% (20% con artist payment).

My new review has come through two days ago and yep, i am on a DOE & my payments have gone up another £132 a month.  I haven't had a pay rise in three years and my shared care hasn't changed either. I rang them yesterday and they said direct pay keeps getting rejected, but cant tell me why. The lady was nice & said she will chase the case worker and sees no reason why it shouldn't now be direct pay.

I said, i understand  but this is my 9th phone call in 8 months where i have been promised this and nothing has happened.

I am at my wits end. if i performed like them at my work, i would be out on my ear.

Anyone have any advice, please?

hi,

yes their system can be horrendous when they get it wrong. you should now write to your local MP and ask them to raise a complaint on your behalf, and also request if they can pay you back the 20% fees over that period.
