I am shortly due to attend a tribunal. Does anyone have any experience of these that they can share? I genuinely don't know what to expect and I want to be prepared. I can't afford a lawyer so I am representing myself.
FYI - I requested the tribunal as I am disputing that my adult child is still in education (he isn't but I'm still having to pay). I'm not expecting a grilling or anything like that.
The only experiences I could find are those of paying parents who have been taken to tribunal for income diversion and the like. It sounds like they had a tough time justifying their position.
... sorry I can’t help you, have you tried typing tribunal into the search engine? Its the last tab at the top of the page.
I attended on about 16 years, so they may have changed, but it was an informal meeting (though my ex decided not to attend, so that made it easier). Might be worth contacting them to ask them what the procedure is.
