My daughter will be going to uni next year, she will be 18 in April, do I still have to pay csa ?
also this new system of calculating payments from gross salary, is this still going ahead and when? I am on the 'old' system and have been since 1999 and pay way over the odds compared to the 'new' 2003 scheme, will I have my payment re calculated to the 12% of my gross wage?

Cheers

I think the new system comes into place in October but I'm not sure how long it will take to transfer existing cases onto it - unsuspecting that it may take some time (my personal feeling is that the original CSA1 cases such as your should be given priority as those dads such as yourself really do seem to have had a very rough deal) so I wouldn't count on it being in time for you. If your daughter goes to university next year, you will have to pay until the September when she starts university.
