I have had a substantial amount of money deducted from my pay with rec sup bnk cr deduction does anyone know if this is child maintenance court ordered deduction. I am not wealthy and living just within my means, I think this will break me.

i have no idea. i would advise you to speak with your HR/payroll people about this. it would be pretty awful if it was to do with child maintenance, and they didnt even bother send you a letter about it.
I will check with payroll tomorrow, Its a weird situation, my wife left when she was pregnant 5year ago and we have had no contact since. I have had no letters or emails and nothing to say she wanted anything. She went to Slovakia and I stayed in UK.
Can child maintenance from another country just tell hm revenue or my company to take money out of my pay without notifying me?
Could this possibly have been done under a REMO procedure? As Bill says, hopefully HR can confirm.
