My ex change my boys school without informing me, he used to get the bus to my house, now it’s not possible after the school change. She done this on purpose, but that’s another argument for another day. I ask the school for a copy of the school application, but was informed I am not allowed to see it, apparently they need to get her approval. Is this correct? The school is a catholic school, the confusing thing is that my boy is not religious nor been inside a church or even babtised, nor does he fall in the catchment area. I looked at the school ADMISSION POLICY and PROCEDURE and not one of them apply to my boy hench me want to look at the application. How do I get a copy or is this an impossibility request
If you have parental responsibility your ex cannot make this decision with out your agreement. Contact the Admissions Officer at your local council and they should be able to tell you about the admissions process.
If there is a disagreement they tend to side with the parent who has the kids the most time, but it is possible to get a specific issue order from the court to force your ex to put your child back in the original school.
My ex has tried to do this twice now and the admissions team have been really helpful.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that the court would reverse this decision... just my opinion. But you could make an application for an urgent Specific Issue Order, urgent applications circumvent the requirement for attempting mediation prior to court. The reason for urgency is that you wish to reverse the decision that was taken without any discussion with you and if granted, this would need to be done with haste.
You can contact their Local Education Authority,
including the Admissions department, as daddy magic has suggested.
