Went out for a meal for my mothers 83rd Birthday, with all three of my kids (very rare these days to get them.out all.together) and my sister and her family. Nice weekend. 🙂

Had drive to Suffolk and back through such rain that I had to stop several times. I remember driving back home by Stansted Airport and not seeing road at all, due to rain falling so much and bouncing from road that it created some steamy water pillow over the road, where you could see only in distance back lights from the cars, like bats glowing and looking at you in the night, and no road tracks at all...

then you arrive to the house, old Victorian house where roof was spearing into sky under rain and small moonlight with darkness everywhere...and from the house comes shouts "Daddy, Daddy" even before you press the bell...

Nothing replaces this, it is like light in the end of the dark tunnel! God, I truly love this boy.

The weather was awful this weekend and we are so not looking forward to the snow and ice. We drove 100 miles in the fog , spent the day trying to avoid the rain. Then drove back in heavy rain and fog, but your right its worth it when you see there smile
