Just thinking!

I know most of us are here because we have the same thing in common (A bitter and twisted evil ex)

But no matter how bitter and twisted they are has anyone found as there child has grown up and been able to communicate there feelings and thoughts/ desires better that contact has become easier.

I believe I'm very close to my daughter but she is only 3 I'm just wondering has anyone had experience that as there child has grown and matured, better expressed there feelings to there mum and asked for more contact with there dad has it got easier for you?

well as mine got older, they were able to express the issues they had with their mother and ended up living with me, and having little or no contact with their mother - but that was because of her actions, not mine. Unfortunately, every situation is different, but as long as you continue to show your daughter just how much she means to you, she isn't going to forget that.

My son was 14 when I arrived home one day to find the wife had left the home. It wasn't one of those bitter splits, she just went. My son was a bit shocked initially, but he was a daddy's boy and decided he wanted to live with me. Although the wife was disappointed, she felt it best to leave him with me - she could have as much contact as she wanted with no restrictions. My son didn't want to see her that often (he's 19 now and still doesn't see her much), I actually feel a bit sorry he doesn't spend so much time with his mother. But to answer your question, everything gets easier with time...good luck.
